Who we are

Solescan is run by Soleman Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number [number], registered office [address]. Contact us at solemanlimited@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote we collect your name, phone number, postcode, the number of pairs, the service you're interested in, and anything you tell us about your shoes. If you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we also receive those messages.

Solescan Members: if you join, we collect your name, email address and date of birth, and whether you agreed to receive offers by email.

SoleScanner: while SoleScanner is in preview, the shoe photo you choose stays on your device and is not sent to us. [Update this section before SoleScanner starts sending photos to us for grading: what we keep, for how long, and whether photos help train our grading model.]

Why we use it

Only to reply to your request: to give you a price, arrange collection and return, and look after your shoes. We use it because you asked us to (steps before a contract). We don't sell your details or use them for marketing unless you agree.

For members, we use your details to run your membership and send your Solescan phone pass. We use your date of birth to check you're 16 or over and for a birthday offer. We only send member offers by email if you ticked the box to say yes, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who else handles it

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for [e.g. 12 months] if you don't book, and for as long as needed for our records if you do. We keep member details while you're a member, and delete them [e.g. 12 months] after you leave or ask us to. You can stop offer emails at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Email solemanlimited@gmail.com. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
